I am Joey Wildasin, president of Joey L. Wildasin Slate Roofing,LLC. I am originally from Hanover, PA and keep strong ties to my community. I have been in the roofing industry since 1989 and quickly grew a passion for slate as well as making custom copper chimney caps, pots, arterial cupulas, yankee gutters, and steeples. This has led to my desire of doing historical restorations and preservation. As every homeowner takes pride in their homes, I take great pride in all of my work. When a client calls me after they have had storm damage I respond within 24 hours or less to quickly make any emergency repairs and assess the damage so I can prepare a report for the insurance company, complete with photos of the damage.

"We first contacted Joey when we discovered a leak in our master bedroom behind the radiator following the excessive amounts of rain we received from Tropical Storm Lee. We needed someone to take a look at the roof to tell us where the leak was coming from, and to give us an estimate of the cost to repair the leak. We expressed to Joey that the situation was urgent due to mold growth, and we have two young children at home.

Despite being very busy with all of the crazy weather we had been having, Joey arrived within hours to take a look at the leak. He thoroughly assessed the situation, and gave us a very reasonable estimate to repair the damages. He informed us that his schedule was booked until the following spring, but that he would squeeze us in so that we would not have any further damage.

The following Monday, Joey came to our home to do the repairs. Not only did he fit us into his schedule, but he came to do the work personally. While there, he discovered that the situation was much more serious than he originally thought. He found several other areas where the roof had been leaking. He informed us that not only did we need to repair these leaks, but that we probably had a serious mold problem as well.

That evening, Joey prepared an estimate along with all of the other information, documentation and photographs that we would need to file an insurance claim. He even called our insurance agent to explain to her the seriousness of the situation in order to speed up the claim process. This has been a very difficult time for my family, but we were fortunate enough to have Joey on our team. He went above and beyond what I would expect any roofer to do.
